Social Link

The Social Link system in P4 allows players to build relationships with ALL of their teammates, not just the girls. The stronger your relationships are, the more events you'll experience. And depending on their ranks, teammates might jump in front of a critical hit for you when you're about to die in battle or perform a support attack to finish off an enemy you weren't able to kill. Also, certain conversations will occur in the dungeons according to the events that took place the last time you hung out with that character, providing a much stronger incentive for developing closer bonds with your party members. You can also obtain the greatest persona of each arcana by leveling up social links to the MAX.

Arcana Chance

What is Arcana Chance?

Occasionally, you would have a shuffle time after a battle. If you have drawn a Persona card or a Blank card, a new system called Arcana Chance may happen. It would show you a major arcana can and then ask if you'd like to see what will happen to it. If you do, the card will start spinning and then randomly stop at its normal or reversed position; normal position is associated with positive outcomes, and reversed position would call upon bad ones. You may check the table below for the list of outcomes.
For effects that is said to be "momentarily", it'd usually last for about 5 battles if left undisturbed. If you performed another Arcana Chance before the previous one expires, the new effect will replace the old one. An exception is Hierophant, which is explained in the footnote of the table.
Which persona to transform, which skill to change, which stat to adjust are all decided randomly. Unlike the Arcana with a finite period of effectiveness, changes of a Persona's skill and stats are permanent.
Lastly, when you leave the dungeon and re-enter or go to another one in the same day, the effect of the Arcana Chance will still persist.

The Velvet Room

This is my favorite place! Well in here, you can fuse personas, buy personas, get special personas (based on the weather forecast) and finish Margaret's social link by fusing the right persona.

This is the door to get inside the Velvet Room:

This is the Velvet Room:

Yeah there are 2 characters inside that room:

Igor

He is a mysterious person. He helps us to get new personas by fusing them. Sometimes, his magic go error, and our personas cannot be fused together, yeah that's so annoying. But mostly, personas can be completely fused. He is a protagonist, but he's kinda creepy I think. His ears made me think he's an elf, but who knows? he's mysterious. And look at his nose, longer than a ruler

 Margaret

She is quite and wise. She always sits beside Igor. She helps us to get new personas by buying them, and she also helps us to know what special persona we can get by fusing them based on the weather forecast. Her social link mission is to fuse personas that she wants, and with the special ability she want

Antagonists

Mitsuo Kubo

A juvenile from Inaba who becomes the second suspect the group believes to be behind the murder case after Kinshiro Morooka's death. He makes a pass at Yukiko Amagi at the beginning of the game, and is rejected. He is later revealed to be an isolated student who was expelled from a different high school prior to the beginning of the game. Look at his face. Can I punch his face? I really want to.

Taro Namatame
A council secretary who is married to popular enka singer Misuzu Hiiragi, fired from his position as a result of his affair with TV reporter Mayumi Amano, the first victim of the case. Namatame is later revealed to be responsible for sending people to the TV world, using his family's delivery truck to be unnoticed by the victims and hiding a TV plasma inside for transporting them after knocking them out. Yeah poor taro, he is doing this without knowing what will happen. That's not the way you save them Taro!

Tohru Adachi
A young police officer in the Inaba police department, and Ryotaro Dojima's junior partner. He often accidentally reveals crucial information regarding the investigation to the protagonist, and is constantly reprimanded by Dojima for running his mouth. Following the revelation that Taro Namatame is not the culprit behind the murders, it is revealed that Adachi is behind the two first murders. He became interested in Mayumi Yamano and Saki Konishi until he pushed them into TVs when they spurned his feelings. After the two initial murders, he tricked Namatame into kidnapping people under the idea that he was keeping them from danger, which is reinforced as every person Namatame "rescues" is then saved by the protagonist's group. Adachi explains that his reason for his actions is nothing more than to entertain himself and out of disgust for the human world. Adachi uses his handgun in battle. His Persona is Magatsu Izanagi, which resembles the protagonist's initial Persona. Yeah, he looks like a clumsy guy with an innocent face, but he's the real culprit.

Ameno-sagiri
The God of Fog, and the being that was partially influencing Tohru Adachi's actions. Responsible for the fog appearing on rainy days, it takes the form of a gigantic eyeball with a golden disc for an iris and black pipes protruding from its form. It believes itself to pursue "mankind's desires." Ameno-sagiri itself is benevolent, promising the protagonist that it will lift the fog after being defeated, although it is revealed through its final words that it is not dead, but will remain dormant until enough people wish for the fog to return. Ameno-sagiri has no known voice actor, although he does speak through Adachi when he takes control of him after he is defeated by the group. In the anime, RyĆ«sei Nakao provides the voice of Ameno-sagiri. This giant eyed-meatball has great fog powers. He looks less scary for me.

Izanami
Izanami is the mastermind behind the events of Persona 4. Claiming that it is what humans desire, she aims to cover the world in dense fog and turn mankind into Shadows, which would cause all humans to live acting on instinct and cease all suffering. Disguising herself as a Moel gas station attendant, she was able to directly grant outsiders like Taro Namatame, Tohru Adachi and Yu Narukami the ability to enter the TV. She also created the entrance to that world as well as the rumor of the Midnight Channel to see how humans would use it. During the battle, her initial form is that of a goddess, but after she is defeated first time her true form is revealed: a massive, skeletal monster, already dead and rotting, under the name of Izanami-no-Okami. Yu defeats her with the power he developed across the game. Following her defeat, Izanami disappears, satisfied with her opponents' abilities. That attendant is actually a female! and she is the mastermind of this game. You will be able to beat this badgirl if you follow the true ending

Shadow Bosses

These are some bosses that could pack a punch in this game:
The shadow we must defeat before Yosuke awakens his persona. The easiest boss that uses wind attacks. Here, you will fight him with the super lame and the weakest persona, Izanagi. Yeah, Izanagi is our first persona.
The shadow we must defeat before Chie awakens her persona. She has strong physical attacks. This is located at the same stage as Yukiko's Shadow.
The shadow we must defeat before Yukiko awakens her persona. She has strong fire attacks. There's also another prince-like shadow that helps and supports Yukiko's Shadow. Oh yeah, she can also increase her health. A phoenix with a love tattoo on her chest and Yukiko's head and hair, which is......yeah weird.
The shadow we must defeat before Kanji awakens his persona. His physical attacks are strong and there's also another 2 shadows that supports Kanji's Shadow's defense.I think this one is really strong, so you should beat the other 2 shadows first.
The shadow we must defeat before Rise awakens her persona. She can analyze our weakness, and our attacks will miss at some period. A really weird, hanging creature that thinks she's sexy. Yeah you all can comment.
A robot-like shadow we must defeat before Naoto awakens her persona. She(or he, because I don't really know the shadow's gender) has strong light and darkness attacks, and physical attacks too.
A shadow we must defeat before Teddie awakens his persona. He has strong ice attacks, and attacks that gives negative effect. Yeah he looks exactly like Teddie, but he lost his cuteness and become a super violent-faced creature.
Kunino-Sagiri, the one who claims that he's a saviour. He is Taro Namatame's Shadow. He can increase his health, and has strong judgment attacks He poses a "peace" sign with his fingers every time he attacks. Yeah, not every shadow is scary.
Ameno-Sagiri, the Deity of Fog. He can create a great defence by using his mist controlling powers, so all of our attacks will miss in some period. Yeah, his body is round and has a single eye, kinda funny, but it is strong tho, don't underestimate him, DON'T.
Izanami, the final boss. She can increase her health, and is of course, the strongest boss, even if you play the easiest level. In this stage you will absolutely die because of the storyline, but you will be revived and you will gain the power of Izanagi no Okami, the transformation of Izanagi, our first persona ever. However, Izanagi no Okami is the strongest Persona in this game, and it is much much much MUCH more stronger than the pipsqueak Izanagi.

Main Characters

Yu Narukami The silent protagonist of Persona 4. As the leader of the Investigation Team, Yu Narukami becomes deeply involved in the serial murder cases in the Inaba region shortly after arriving in town to live with his uncle. His first persona is Izanagi of the Fool Arcana. He looks kinda cold and his hair is so not cool for me, but, he is actually a great leader with a great leadership.
Yosuke Hanamura Clumsy boy and comic relief character who sports reddish-brown hair and wears red headphones around his neck. Uses dual knives or kunai in battle and his initial persona is Jiraiya of the Magician Arcana which uses Wind, Heal and Stat Buff magic. His hair looks cooler than the main character! A bit unfair I think, but, he's really cool!
Chie Satonaka A huge fan of martial arts, as well as usually being upbeat, cheerful and energetic, Chie is one of the first characters to join Persona 4's party. She does, however, have an occasionally short temper, especially with Yosuke Hanamura. Her initial Persona is Tomoe Gozen of the Chariot Arcana. I think she must love Bruce Lee, she definitely must.
Yukiko Amagi Yukiko is an elegant, rich girl in Persona 4 with long, black hair. She wears a red headband. Her primary weapon is the paper fan she always carries with her. Yukiko's initial persona is Konohana Sakuya of the Priestess Arcana and she is skilled in healing and fire magic. The queen of the school, beauty, gorgeous, but her laugh is pretty funny.
Kanji Tatsumi A juvenile delinquent who has extensive experience with street fighting. Despite his tough exterior, Kanji possesses a much softer side. He's Persona is Take-Mikazuchi of the Emperor Arcana. A violent looking person, but he is actually funny. On the midnight channel, he is barely.....yeah with a towel covering his....you know, but who cares?
Rise Kujikawa A former pop idol who gave up her career and transferred to Yasogami High School for unknown reasons. She serves as a support character and informs the party of enemy data, replacing Teddie in that role. Her persona is Himiko of The Lovers Arcana. She... is way better than yukiko I think. She definitely is.
Naoto Shirogane A famous detective with serious self-image issues, Naoto uses a revolver in battle and her Persona is Sukuna Hikona, of the Fortune Arcana, specializing in Almighty, Light, and Dark type skills. He... I mean she is quite cool and she uses a handgun in battles! Only Naoto can match Yu's coldness.
Teddie A mysterious bear who resides in the world of the Midnight Channel. He is searching for who/what he is. His initial persona is Kintoki-Douji. He is a poor little thing that looks like a bear that is stuck in the TV world. He's so cute! Ehm sorry.

The Story of Persona 4

Persona 4 opens with the protagonist arriving in Inaba to live with the Dojimas for one year (starting April 11, 2011), as his parents are working abroad. Just after his arrival, a TV announcer is found dead, her body hanging from an antenna; Saki Konishi, the high school student who had discovered the body, is later found dead under similar gruesome circumstances. After the protagonist and his friends accidentally enter the TV world, they meet Teddie, who helps them travel freely between the TV and real worlds. They awaken their Persona abilities, and, realizing that the murders stem from Shadow attacks in the TV world, are able to rescue several would-be victims. Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kujikawa and Teddie accept their other selves, which become giant Shadows in the TV world, and join the group as Persona-users. Mitsuo Kubo, a student from another high school who disappears following the death of Kinshiro Morooka, the protagonist's foul-mouthed homeroom teacher, claims credit for the murders; it is eventually learned that Kubo only killed the teacher and played no part in the other murders.
Naoto Shirogane, a nationally renowned teenage detective investigating the case, is also rescued and joins the party, who learn that "he" is actually a girl who assumed a male identity to avoid the police's sexism.
Events come to a head when the protagonist is mistakenly accused by Ryotaro Dojima of having some kind of role in the murders. Nanako Dojima is kidnapped while the protagonist is being interrogated, leading Ryotaro to engage in a vehicular pursuit with the culprit. The chase ends as they both crash; the kidnapper escapes with Nanako through a television set in his truck, and the gravely injured Ryotaro entrusts her rescue to the party. The group tracks them down within the TV world; the culprit, Taro Namatame, attacks them as a "human/Shadow" hybrid - Kunino-sagiri - but is defeated and both he and Nanako are taken to the Inaba hospital. When Nanako appears to die, the group furiously confronts Namatame; as the protagonist, the player must help the others realize that Namatame is not the killer by pointing out the lack of a proper motive, and subsequently work to determine that Ryotaro's assistant, Tohru Adachi, is the true killer. Failure to do so ends the game with the party being unable to solve the case; Nanako's death being permanent; and the recurring fog permanently setting in, the latter of which will eventually result in humanity's demise.
Having identified the culprit as Adachi, the party chases and locates him within the TV world. Adachi explains his motives and ideals to the group; his claims are dismissed by the party. After fighting Adachi, he is possessed by Ameno-sagiri, the Japanese God of Fog, who reveals that the fog is lethal to people and will eventually wipe out humanity. Upon his defeat, he agrees to lift the fog, congratulating the party on their resolve. Defeated, the wounded Adachi agrees to assume responsibility for his actions and turns himself in. The game moves forward to the day before the protagonist must travel home; if the player returns to the Dojima residence, the game ends with the party sending the protagonist off as he departs Inaba. Alternatively, should the player be able to identify the unexplained origins of the Midnight Channel and attempt to resolve this plot element, the protagonist meets with the party and together they decide to put the case to a permanent end.
The protagonist confronts the gas station attendant encountered at the start of the game, who reveals herself to be the Japanese goddess Izanami and the "conductor" behind the game's events. The cause of the recurring fog is established as an attempt to eliminate humans by merging the TV world with the human world, all for the sake of humanity. The party tracks Izanami down within the TV world and battle her, but is at first unable to win; the defeated protagonist is given strength by the bonds he has forged with those around him, and with this power awakens a new Persona - Izanagi-no-Okami - which he uses to defeat Izanami. In doing so the fog in each world is lifted, and the TV world is restored to its original form. The game ends with the departure of the main character. Pretty long eh? Yeah boring if you read it, but fun if you play it!

The Establishment of Persona 4

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus for PlayStation 2, and is the fifth installment of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Persona 4 was released in Japan in July 2008, North America in December 2008, and Europe in March 2009. It features a weather forecast system with events happening on foggy days to replace the moon phase system implemented in the previous games. The story of this game is also available in comic books series  If you like role-playing games or daily life games, you should try this out. I think this game is fun to play. especially when you get something new. Well, it might get boring when you have to get through dungeons, but I think it's pretty cool and......addictive.
